Don’t come back, it won’t end well.
But I wish you’d tell me to.
I love Billie๐๐๐. Her voice is so femininely haunting. In this live version of Six Feet Under, her brother, Finneas O’Connell, who actually writes majority of Billie’s song lyrics and is heavily involved in the sound production, is also performing. He doesn’t get enough credit – but her darkly ethereal voice is keystone. This song is so pretty; dead love but made beautiful by assimilating it with nature’s cyclic process in returning the decayed to life. Water. Time. Roses Blooming.
Red Roses are contradictory in the way their hue is lustful, passionate, bold, embody renewal and inspire, however, are intensely guarded by dangerous thorns and can make you bleed if held incorrectly. A lot like love (and life), they can be beautiful and painful all at once. But in both instances; you see lovely deep red.
